3 Reasons to Post

HI Gals!!
today I have three reasons to post .\
#1. My daughter made a cartoon character(Sponge bob square pants) for her school magazine.It was her first attempt and it came out really well.And she was most eager to publish it on my blog.So here it is and please comment on this one as she is realllllllyyyyyyyy curious.

#2. Now this is what i made today...I gifted my hubby a book yesterday and again made a personalized book mark to go with it.Here for the first time i tried out misting.so check it out

 The stamps used  are again Tim holtz,I  first used a large feather stamp with copper acrylic paint if you can notice ,then i misted the paper with water color inksand then i distressed and stamped with my favorite vintage photo distressed ink pad .The swirl is also stamped and distressed by the same ink and i have pasted it  just on top so it can hold the paper inside it.As shown in the pic. above.

# 3.And now last but not the least I received my 1st I got an attitude award from Rachna.Thanx a lot gal.

The three things that make me different are:
*I am a very strong headed person,if i think of doing something, I can,t rest till that thing is done,it may be any thing(which creates a lot of problems for me at times)
*I am an internet addict.If for 1day my net is down i become very restless.
*I love shopping!!and when it comes to craft shopping,i dont even get to know when my wallet gets empty.

Flashback Friday 5.0!!

hi gals!!
Today while  surfing I found out about Amy,s flashback fridays challenge and so decided to go ahead and take part in the challenge.So here I am.I am reposting my first ever tag where i tried embossing for the first time and I even stamped so vividly in so many different shades for the first time.so lots of trials and errors in this one :D..lol.

This is a book mark i made today for my dear hubby.He is busy reading Dan Browns Deception Point these days.So i thought why not give him a personalized  book mark.So here it is

The brown paper is from the wedding invite,over that i have used news paper and distressed it with Tim Holtz distress ink in tea dye and vintage photo.

 The alphas are from big shot and the stamp is Tim Holtz's.

As promised I am back with with the die cuts pics,so here they are...

 I have tried to add lots of colors and variety(some of the flowers and swirls are cut in felt,the colors which were available with me )HEY CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN BUY FELT FROM??D
sorry,back to the post,these r just a part of the give away and not the whole thing as I will CUSTOMIZE the GIVE AWAY as per the winners wish.AND THERE WILL BE MORE...as i have still not opened all my dies....and there will be embossed sheets also.

 Also there are 10 paper dolls with hair wigs for both boy and girl plus there dress ups,shoes,slippers,etc and also stamped face expressions.

Hi guys !!
This is a super quick tag i made today.It took me like ten minutes to complete it.So check it out.

 I have used FISKARS for the bird stamp in cranberry for the bird,INKADINKADO's gem stone birds for the feather in turquoise and christmas green,and the phrase ENJOY is also from FISCARS bird stamp set in colors true red, orange and sunshine yellow.
PS.today i just received 15 ink pads by INK IT UP  all in different colors in my mail as another surprise by dear HUBBY.He"s pampering me a lot these days.
