Hi all

First of all Happy Diwali to everyone.

Yes Its time to announce the another challenge at ICR too. Diwali is coming and in this festive season we wish to celebrate Diwali in ICR too through our creations.

So this time our challenge is-

Make use of paper quilting method and Yes with a twist again..and the twist is..It has to be a Diwali project for this festive season.

ICRC-22 MONOCHROMATIC + LETTER FAMILY

HI FRIENDS!!!
I am Sooooo Happy Today....As I am now A designer for ICR.Yes I have been promoted from interim designer to DESIGNER.YIPPIEEE!!!!
And not only this..This times challenge is also decided by Me...So here it is...

This time ICR challenge is -

MONOCHROMATIC + LETTER FAMILY

MONOCHROMATIC- according to definitions online, is a single color tone, playing all by itself... but sometimes takes support of just one neutral.... either white or black...... Since it poses shades of it.

But yes, with a twist again.....

And the COMBO TWIST is LETTER FAMILY!

Color should rule the creation, as It should be MONOCHROMATIC.

But at the same time,for just that little enhancement you need to bring out the best in your creativity...the alphabet can help you.You need to use at least 2 components on the creation with that letter YOU CHOOSE!

For Eg:

'B' is for blue,brads,buttons,blings,butterfly etc...

"P" is for pink,pins,peach,pearls,petals,punch craft etc

'R' is for red,rose,ribbons,raffia,etc.

Like in my Case I have used the Alphabet "P"
I have used PINK COLOR with WHITE for support,PEARLS,PUNCH CRAFT,POLLEN AND"PETIOLE"(stem) (Just for that lil enhancement)

Its time for another fresh new challenge at ICR.This time's challenge is

So here goes the combo for you.... SKETCH A CARD/LO/ALBUM... But yes, with a twist again.....

And the COMBO TWIST is METAL - 'URGE'Y CREATIONS!

Yes! Urge yourself to use/add/recycle/upcycle one or more of any kind of METAL (simple or complicated) on your creations!

Include any kind of metal (big or small, simple or complicated) on your creation.

You can include from simple brads and eyelets to clips and hardware.... Just anything.... Savvy!


And this time I had given an inspiration as an Interim Designer for ICR.This card was made in an hour,at a very short notice.Hope you guys like it.I have followed second sketch by Sudha.

I have upcycled the lock charm from my slippers.The flower is hand made by me.

Hi Friends!!!
I know I have not been posting as regularly as I thought I would,But So much to do and so less time.Busy with the classes,orders and then my store,But I am not complaining.I am enjoying to the fullest.I lovve my craft work shops and enjoy giving classes.Then the orders are just the cherry on the cake.Any ways cutting short my blah...blah....blahhh.....Here is my card that  made on order from a mum to her daughter for her result.

For the background I have used the backgound border stamp by Stampendous  Checkered Border available in my craft store HERE.

 The ribbons are also from my craft store Here.The butterflies are stamped and colored.

Altered Vacation Fund Box!!!

Hey Gals!!!
How have you been!!!Well life had kept me really busy in last few days,with lots of craft workshops,my craft store,plus a few social events.Anyways I am not complaining,though I am really ENJOYING to the fullest.
Today I want to share a box I made for my daughter a few months back, when she asked me for a Disney land trip as her Birthday Present.I made this box for her as I wanted her to learn the value of money.As seeing others she was getting habituated to demanding.So I made this for her And told her to start Saving all what she could.I even encouraged her by giving her a few rewards.And I could not believe the savings she did.That even gave me a lesson which I was trying to give to my daughter, but was not following it myself.Sometimes Kids also teach us alot.So enough of my BLAH BLAH BLAH....Here is the box

 The teddy is made using various punches,The flowers are daisy die cuts,The alphas are cut using my sizzix dies and glitter foam sheets(available in my craft store).The Striped label is hand cut,The butter fly is recycled from my daughters clips.

                                                              This was the box I altered.

Flower Spray

Hi Friends!!!
Today I tried my hand in making a Flower spray on order from a friend.She will use it on the scrapbook album cover .I have tried Cabbage rose for the first time and is really happy with the Outcome(HEHEHE I am self praising again)I used used lots of items from my store.The swirls,Pollens,Etc you can all buy HERE.So Take a look and don't forget to leave your feedback.

Calla Lilies For Mom!!!

Hey Friends!!!!
Today I tried making Calla lilies with punches.I had seen them on the net but had no clue how to make it.But today while playing with my punches I made them and was really happy the way they turned out.And yes I am becoming WHITOHOLIC.When I think of making a card,the cardstock that comes to my mind is WHITE,WHITE and more WHITE.I think I am in love with it.This card I have made for my mother for women's day.She is the most perfect woman I have ever met or seen.She is my definition for a perfect women.I Admire,Adore,Love,Cherish,And all other adjectives I can think of (GOOD ONES).
                                                                         I LOVE YOU MA!!!!
