First MS punch card

Hi gals!!
Today is a very special day for me.Today in my mail I received my first MS punch,and guess what not 1,not 2 but 5 Whole sets of edge and corner punches.Again hubby surprised me with an early birthday gift.And I really dont believe how he finds such gr8 deals.He's such a darling.Love him so very much.D...back to my post.I will post the pics of punches on my Birthday as i am not allowed to use them before that.But today when my husband was out I cheated a bit and made this quick card.So here it is.

 I have done a lot of distressing and my favorite tim holtz stamps.The flower is also made using the MS punch .

Back after celbrating my ANNI in NAINI

ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi Gals!!

Can,t believe time flies so fast.Its seems like just yesterday when I first met Ram (hubby).He's been a friend for 15 yrs,husband for 9 yrs and a soul mate for life.And as its our 9th ANNIVERSARY day after tomorrow,I made a card for him .So here it is

 The background paper is stamped with black ink using scrappy cat,s flowers stamp set.the flower is made using sizzix dies Daisies#2 and the phrase LOVE is also die cuts from sizzix lover dovers set.The ribbon is recycled and the flower embellishment in the center is also from a gift i recd.

3 Reasons to Post

HI Gals!!
today I have three reasons to post .\
#1. My daughter made a cartoon character(Sponge bob square pants) for her school magazine.It was her first attempt and it came out really well.And she was most eager to publish it on my blog.So here it is and please comment on this one as she is realllllllyyyyyyyy curious.

#2. Now this is what i made today...I gifted my hubby a book yesterday and again made a personalized book mark to go with it.Here for the first time i tried out misting.so check it out

 The stamps used  are again Tim holtz,I  first used a large feather stamp with copper acrylic paint if you can notice ,then i misted the paper with water color inksand then i distressed and stamped with my favorite vintage photo distressed ink pad .The swirl is also stamped and distressed by the same ink and i have pasted it  just on top so it can hold the paper inside it.As shown in the pic. above.

# 3.And now last but not the least I received my 1st I got an attitude award from Rachna.Thanx a lot gal.

The three things that make me different are:
*I am a very strong headed person,if i think of doing something, I can,t rest till that thing is done,it may be any thing(which creates a lot of problems for me at times)
*I am an internet addict.If for 1day my net is down i become very restless.
*I love shopping!!and when it comes to craft shopping,i dont even get to know when my wallet gets empty.

Flashback Friday 5.0!!

hi gals!!
Today while  surfing I found out about Amy,s flashback fridays challenge and so decided to go ahead and take part in the challenge.So here I am.I am reposting my first ever tag where i tried embossing for the first time and I even stamped so vividly in so many different shades for the first time.so lots of trials and errors in this one :D..lol.

This is a book mark i made today for my dear hubby.He is busy reading Dan Browns Deception Point these days.So i thought why not give him a personalized  book mark.So here it is

The brown paper is from the wedding invite,over that i have used news paper and distressed it with Tim Holtz distress ink in tea dye and vintage photo.

 The alphas are from big shot and the stamp is Tim Holtz's.
