Calla Lilies For Mom!!!

Hey Friends!!!!
Today I tried making Calla lilies with punches.I had seen them on the net but had no clue how to make it.But today while playing with my punches I made them and was really happy the way they turned out.And yes I am becoming WHITOHOLIC.When I think of making a card,the cardstock that comes to my mind is WHITE,WHITE and more WHITE.I think I am in love with it.This card I have made for my mother for women's day.She is the most perfect woman I have ever met or seen.She is my definition for a perfect women.I Admire,Adore,Love,Cherish,And all other adjectives I can think of (GOOD ONES).

Today I am posting a CAS card.Actually its not my style,But as I am still down with fever and was feeling pathetic and sick of lying in the bed,so thought of making something quick.And believe me I felt much better while crafting.Also there was one major inclination for me to craft.My new WATERMARK Made by TEJAL.She is a Darling.Thanx a lot girl.So here is my card with my new WATERMARK.

A few days ago,I was asked to review My Memories Suite. In case you've never heard of it here's a little blurb about it from their website:

My Memories Suite version 2 software is a complete digital scrapbooking solution that provides a powerful set of creative tools and multiple sharing options that no other software can offer. Its intuitive workspace and enhanced time-saving features are perfect for a beginner to build an entire album in minutes, or to empower the design pro to build a scrapbook album masterpiece.

So I downloaded it and gave it a spin. It was super easy to download and install....in fact, I didn't even have to get my hubby to help me. Which is pretty amazing because you might not know it, but I am technically challenged.

I was able to whip up a page in just minutes....seriously. I knew nothing about this software, however I was able to scrap these pages very quickly.

I also liked that they have a variety of kits to choose from in their store from some top name designers. You can also use digital scrapbooking paper and elements from other places around digi-land. I did ask if you could use outside templates and they said you could....but I couldn't quite figure out how to do it. SO checked out the youtube videos on my memory suite and trust me these are so so helpful.

So I would say if learning Photoshop is what is scaring you away from digital scrapbooking then My Memories Suite would be a great software for you to try out.

Today I wanna share my new project which I made for my Niece to gift her on Raksha Bandhan.And for my oveseas friends
Raksha Bandhan is a festival primarily observed in North India, which celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters.The central ceremony involves the tying of a rakhi (sacred thread) by a sister on her brother's wrist. This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her.

First of all I want to apologize to all of you for being MIA for over a month.It was madning last month.I was sooooo soooo occupied with sooo much.My summer camp with kids,then craft classes,my brother's engagement,and lastly my daughter's driver.The days just vanished.

She has sent me this adorable box.Look at it ,isnt it soooooooooooooo cutttttttttteeeeeeeeeeeee.OH I LOVE IT!!

Yesterday I was super HAPPY,dont know why but I guess there are days when you are not feeling s nice for no reason,and sometimes you are just feeling WOW!!for no reason.That was my day yesterday.The weather here in Delhi is fantastic these days,not very chilly but pleasantly cold,So enjoying it.And so I made a couple of cards yesterday.uploading just 2 of them for today .These are swing fold cards or Flip cards.Here they are

The butterflies are Digis which I downloaded from some coloring pages website.I colored them with normal sketch pens and water and then I did a coat of top coat Nail paint to give it a bit of shine.Its lookin really nice in real but the camera ain't showing it.The borders r MS punches.

Hey ladies!!
This is a card I made today for my cousin's anniversary, using my very favorite combination of white,yellow and black.Yesterday while playing with my big shot I made a NEWembossing plate using the daisies die,I am very impressed by the result..I also tried a bit of masking in this card.So check it out

The shine in the centre of the embossed flower is because I have used glue and gloss in the centre(had got it ages back but never used it ,but after seeing it on Ujjwal's card ,was curious to see how it looks),the yellow and oronge base flowers are stamped using my sizzix stamps.

Today I made this card for my daughter's friend,who is turning 6 today.She is having a Princess themed birthday party.So this is what I came up with...

this is a peek a boo card ,when u pull apart the sides the prince and princess go apart and a castle arises in the backgrond.

I have used pink card stock from my stash,cut outs r from sizzix dies,I just bought.flowers r punch craft and for u stamp is from my stash.So thats it 4 today .thanx 4 visiting.

Hey GALS!!
I am back after a long sickness...I have been unwell since last yearLOL,but I am fine now and all ready to craft.This is the card I made today.It is a kids card for my daughter's friends birthday.So check it out.

This card is made using puch craft and paper piecing technique...The DORAEMON is made using punches .the fence is made by paper peicing (hey guys the wood grain embossing plate is made by me as home).the sun is a circle punch and the grass is again punches.

AND my latest craft supply bought is this dotliner,which I got from Karol bagh yestterday for 250 bucks.I was surprised to c it there and loved it .What do you think guys is it reasonable or expensive??The shopkeeper has promised me to get the refill which would cost me around 185.It is 7mts. long.

I am posting this for THE BEST WORK OF 2010 FOR KAVITHA'S BLOG,.I practically took up crafts once again in 2010 itself.This year has tought me a lot,and has been gr8.I got my big shot ,the dies the punches,and all my craft supplies in this year. I was always very keen on crafting and also did quite a bit before marriage but did not follow it after marriage,But this yr. gave it a shot once again,and here i am.And according to me my best work for 2010 is my punch craft,Though this year has taught me a lot ,but this is my personal favorite.

My addiction for punch craft is in full swing.My hubby has finally warned me that if he sees me with those punches again he's gonna throw them all.I guess I really tested his patience as he is full of it otherwise.And my addiction is also giving a big blow to my pocket also,actually my hubby's(LOL)not even a month has passed that I got my MS Punches and now I have ordered my PUNCH BUNCH punches.Hope to get them soon,So that I can show you something other than Roses.

My Niece's turning 20

Hi gals!!
Tomm. my niece is turning 20.So I made a card for her.I still cant believe she has grown so old,seems like yesterday when she was born,and as she was the first child of the family,and my first child as well.you can think of the excitement,and also because I was a kid myself then(12 yrs old).And now shes all grown up and turned into a beautiful young lady.Love her soooo much.MAY GOD BLESS HER.
So back to the post...This is my first Tri shutter card,so check it out

I have adhered a Pic. of both my lovely Daughters.The stamps are from inkadinkadoo,the alphas are sizzix die cuts.
